1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Vitra platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
Vitra provides an AI-powered nutrition tracking platform that enables users to log food intake, track nutritional data, analyse meal photos, log bloodwork results, and receive personalised AI nutrition insights. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.
3. Medical disclaimer
Important: Vitra is a nutrition tracking tool and is not a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice. AI-generated insights are informational only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition.
4. User accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised account access.
- One account per person. Do not create accounts on behalf of others without permission.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Scrape or harvest data from the Service without permission
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
6. Subscription and billing
- The free tier is available indefinitely at no charge.
- Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. Prices are displayed at checkout and may change with 30 days' notice.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
7. User content
By uploading meal photos or entering data into the Service, you grant Vitra a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. You retain all ownership of your data. We do not use your personal health data to train AI models without explicit consent.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, software, text, and AI models, is owned by Vitra and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vitra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated nutritional information.
Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
11. Changes to terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vitra is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
